The professor had his usual way of starting the semester. We had brief introductions, except that this part won't really be brief knowing him all too well. Be that as it may, the class got to know one another better. And we talked about pets, among others. I learned that one of my classmates had a tilapia for a pet, which is not really a bad idea, except that he thought it was a goldfish.
Had the professor asked me if I have a pet, I would have not hesitated to answer:
